• How is allowing children to see the natural way in which we feed babies lowering ourselves to being treated like animals? The only reason why breasts are seen as sexual or shameful is because that's what our society teaches us. Yes, they can be an erogenous zone, but so can earlobes.

• Sonata's Adela- just FYI, the feeling of nursing a baby is about as far from sexual as you can get. It can be nice, as a feeling of caring for your child, but it's never exciting in any manner, much less sexual. It's nothing at all like stimulation when you're with your partner.

• This is something that parents need to decide on themselves, and not attack those that make different choices.

• Another thing to consider if your spouse becomes unemployed- health insurance. When my husband lost his job early in the recession, I was able to add him and our son to my health insurance through my work. This was just a side benefit to my needing to work anyway.

• And just remember that waiting until you're in a good place in life doesn't guarantee that you'll stay there. I had my boys at 30 and 33. I waited until I was married, had a house and good vehicles. Then my husband lost his job.

• I loved having a nice, boring first name growing up- I think it was in the top 5 at the time and my small elementary school even had multiples of it in my grade, but otherwise I liked it. My last name wasn't complicated, but was often misspelled or mispronounced.
